This month’s session was focused on updates to TransIT since the September VUG meeting. The tip of the month was about dates and times being stored in UTC inside TransIT and the impact this has when creating Activities or Events in Plans

This month’s session was focused on how to create test scripts in TransIT. The tip of the month was also on the recommended approach to taking your existing spreadsheet-based test scripts and turning them into scripts that are effective and easy to maintain.

In this months’ session we reviewed a few new features and functions added since the last meeting in June. The tip of the month was a reminder to start each day of testing by filtering to your own personal Position Dashboard view. If you are already due up in a step a the beginning of the day, you won’t be notified.

In this months’ session we reviewed a few new features and functions added since the last meeting in April. The tip of the month was a reminder that Admins can update the roles Users play in testing from a right-click option on the User record.

In this months’ session we reviewed a few new features and functions and demonstrated how to set interface transactions during testing. The tip of the month was about not using special characters in Positions or Task names.

In this months session we reviewed new features and functions including: Merge; new ways to send notifications for Notes, Issues and from the Users page; automatically creating [Details] and [Scenario Header Details] from the Paste from Clipboard; multi-assigning positions from the Roster; and several others. Tip of the month around correcting steps in a test script once accessed from the Test Report.

This month we attempted to review all of the enhancements and fixes since our October session. The tip of the quarter was around how to easily create reusable workflows to speed test script development.

This month we reviewed the Development Roadmap survey results. We also demonstrated exciting new features like automated invites for days of testing and how to create custom columns in plans.
