This month we had a number of fixes and enhancements deployed in TransIT. This month’s features include:

Home:
–Org preference login announcement under Org Settings > Preferences
–Added the ability to multi-select and choose which notifications to mark as Read
–All email notifications also create in app notifications that are unread until you mark them as read
–Only unread notifications will appear on the Home Notification tile. Additionally, if you go to an issue from an unread notification, you can mark the notification read from the Issue page
Projects:
–Meeting invites have been rewritten. The rewrite will cause you to need to reschedule all existing meetings. Additionally, everyone now sees meetings in the time zone of their workstation.
–The Projects pages and the Issues page have additional functionality under Customize Columns. You can now select what will display on the List View, Form View or Page View. This is advanced functionality that only Admins have access to. If you need more information about this, contact support@makesolutionsinc.com
–When you create a meeting, you can select to send a calendar invite. It does not link to any outside applications for meetings at this time, so you can’t use it to check calendars, etc.
–You can now change the project a meeting is associated to
–You can now add a color to a specific meeting or meeting series
–A Review Filtered Projects icon was added to the toolbar row on the Projects page
–Milestones on the Status Report now indicate which are past due
Project Requests:
–You can facilitate creating a new Project Request using Build with AI instead of clicking Add Project Request. Paste text or upload a spreadsheet, word document, or image and the textual fields of the Form are populated.
–Added ability to add hover text to the Project Requests form and Project Requests page
–Added ability to add attachments to Project Requests via the Project Request form
Plans:
–If you add a custom column to a Plan that is a Ref List, and you are not attaching it to an existing Custom List, you can now add the list and values in a single step.
–In Customize Columns you can now change some control types after a column has been created
–You can right click and change the reference group attached to a custom column in Plans. If the column already has values, they must exist in the new reference group.
–Right click change for bulk edits are now recorded for every row changed. New right click menu option under More – View activity changes will show you a filtered list of changes for that row.
–Added Bulk Edit for multi-selecting columns in Customize Columns in Plans to allow you to bulk edit: column width; wrap; % driver; hidden; archive; and column color.
–There is now an ability to choose to require a confirmation, or confirmation with a reason when you delete an Activity in a Plan. This can be done when creating the Plan or any time afterwards using the Edit Details. Note, if you use the Edit Details from the vertical ellipsis inside the Plan, you must refresh for it to take effect.
–You can now filter on Checkbox custom columns in Plans
–Added the ability to multi-sort to the Activities page in Plans
Timelines:
–Status columns have been removed from the Timelines page. To view the Schedule status of a Project look at the Schedule Health on the Projects page that the Project Manager manually updates.
–Filtered Views has been added to the Timeline Tasks page allowing users to see All Tasks, Critical Path or Milestones.
–Added Start Date and End Date to the right click, bulk edit for Timelines
–Added a right click, Add to Calendar to Tasks in a Timeline to be able to add Events to the Project Calendar
–By default, first two levels of the Timeline Hierarchy are expanded. Now when you expand a section on 3+ levels and refresh, it will keep those sections expanded. To fully go back to the default, collapse all and then refresh
Workflows:
–Added initials of people viewing a workflow in the bottom left
–You can now see Modules, Outcomes, connected Inbound and Outbound Workflows in when in View Only mode
–There is now a Missing Decision Label indicator added to workflows that warns the user of missing labels from decision boxes. When you click the indicator, it opens an alert message indicating which decisions are missing labels.
–There is now a single button to create all candidate modules in a Workflow at one time
–Added right click Bulk Edit for Position and Application in the Modules pane
–In Find and Replace for Workflows, you can remove a row to exclude from the replace. Click the Remove button in the preview window on the rows you want to remove from the replace.
–New Outcomes sidebar panel for editing Outcomes associated with a Task
–There is a settings icon on the Workflows page to allow each user to determine which columns they want to see in their view and set the column widths, if desired.
–In Workflows Build with AI you can increase the timeout up to 10 minutes now. It was previously 3 minutes
–Build with AI allows for recent entries to be visible and to store favorites. You can mark something as a favorite either at the time you that enter it into the prompt, or from the Recent History.
–When you use Build with AI for creating a Workflow from either an image or from text and you indicate that Tasks are associated to a specific Position, the Position is now automatically attached to the Workflow at the gear icon. If the Position does not exist, it will be ignored.
–When creating Modules, Build with AI can now add Positions to each step in the workflow if the positions have been included in the prompt information.
–Build with AI now accepts video files for upload.
Modules:
–Modules Find and Replace now includes the verification screen and the ability to remove rows from the Replace.
–Modules Steps action/outcomes now support and use the html editor. This allows you to insert images directly into a Modules action or outcome.
Scripts:
–Header Script Details are now included in the Search on the Scripts page
–The Script Header Details window now opens as a page instead of a pop up. To open in a separate tab CTRL-Click the icon instead of just clicking the icon
–When using the Notes filter on the Script Steps page there are now 3 options: Hide Note; Show Open Notes; and Show Closed Notes. The Notes are no longer limited to active Test Rounds.
–Script Steps action/outcomes now support and use the html editor. This allows you to insert images directly into a Step action or outcome. If you want to use special characters in your text, such as >, <, etc. make sure to use the html editor for the specific Action or Outcome that includes the special character.
–A vertical ellipsis was added to the Script Steps page to allow you to edit the Script Details without returning to the Scripts page.
–The Manage Sections button was added to the Toolbar on the Script Steps page for Functional Scripts. It is an improved way to add Sections. Additionally, you can now right click and Bulk Edit Sections on Test Steps. Inside the Bulk Edit Sections there is a + that allows you add a new Section.
–A Settings gear has been added to the Script Steps page. Users can choose which Script Step columns are visible and set each column's width in pixels. Resizing a column directly in the grid automatically saves its new width. Column preferences are stored per user and per script.
–You can now "pin" a Step in the Script Steps page. This allows you to mark the place that you are currently working on and not "lose" it when you scroll or search to find something someplace else in the Script. The Step stays pinned until you pin a different Step on until you leave the Script. The row stays pinned until you pin another row or until you leave the script.
–There is now a Tags column hidden in Scripts Steps. This column can be utilized to flag steps for follow-up.
Testing:
–Added the ability to move a script out N number of days during a test round. Able to multi-select and reschedule scripts
–Script Breakdown is once again available in the Test Planning report
–The Test Header Details window now opens as a page instead of a pop up. To open in a separate tab CTRL-Click the icon instead of just clicking the icon
–A Search Scope feature has been added to the Search Box on the Notes page. When you access Notes from a Test Round, the scope is defaulted to "This Test Round". The scope can be changed to "All Test Rounds". Any search done from the Search box will be based on the selected scope. Additionally, if you click Notes from the breadcrumb, the scope is defaulted to "Open Notes". The scope can be changed to "All Notes“
–Moved the four Test Round shortcuts beside the breadcrumb: Dashboard, Summary Chart, Notes, and Issues.
–The Open vs Closed graph at the bottom of the Issue Charts page is now configurable
–You can now change the position for Steps on the Test Steps page when necessary
–Optional Assigned User, Username, Password, and Vendor columns can be shown from the Test Steps header.
–The Test Steps page includes a Staffing popup for Users and Administrators.
•Staffing can override the default assigned user for each Position in the current Script.
•Staffing can also change the roster users for each position for all scripts.
•Overrides apply only to that script; the main roster remains unchanged.
•Overrides affect Test Step tooltips, the Testing Dashboard, schedules, reminders, notifications, invitations, and calendar appointments.
•Changing a steps position does not modify an override. An override may disappear from view if that position is no longer used by the script.
•A muted person indicator appears in the Position column when a step is assigned to someone else and not the current user.
–The roster page displays a banner when scripts have custom staffing assignments. A link on the roster banner opens a read-only summary of the script overrides.
–Added back the ability to change the position of Steps on the Testing Steps page during a Test Round
Issues:
–Issue emails completely reformatted to a new standard making it easier to read
–The Comments field has been added to the list of fields that the Search box searches on the Issue page
–Search with AI is now visible on the breadcrumb row and includes the following fields: title, status, category, priority, severity, impact, vendor, application, vendor issue, other info, description, resolution, labels, tags, and recent comments.
–You can now filter on the Escalate column.
–A Search Scope feature has been added to the Search Box on the Issues page. When you access Issues from the Navigation bar, the scope is defaulted to "Open Issues". The scope can be changed to "All Issues". Searched done from the Search box will be based on the selected scope. If a number is entered the search will be performed for issues containing that number, regardless of the Search Scope selected.
–New Issues integration with Scripts allows Functional Scripts to be created from content from issue details, comments, related issues, and from scripts, workflows, modules that have the same vendor if relevant. Content is optionally generated from Library folders if linked
Org Settings:
–Right click, View Activity was added to the User record on the Users page
–There are 2 new Org Settings under Preferences:
•Send New User Account Email; and
•New User Email Template.
•When Send New User Account Email is selected, and email is sent to all new users, based on the New User Email Template.
–Login announcement has been added to Org Settings > Preferences
–Enhanced the Org Settings > Script Detail Names page to be easier to use and to have new Details add at the bottom of the list, instead of the top. There is now a right click option to cut and paste making it much easier to group like Details together. There is also the ability to Categorize Details however your Organization chooses.
–Added a new Control Type of Teams and Teams Multiselect that pulls from your Teams that have been built in Org Settings. Can be used in Plans, Projects and Workflows.
Org Settings:
–By default, AI functionality is now disabled. Clients can choose to enable it understanding that passthrough charges may be incurred. Each Client is entitled to $25/month worth of tokens before they would receive any charges
–There is a new User Access column associated with the optional Menu and Toolbar application. This allows you to decide who in your organization has access to each of these applications.
–User Excel import now checks for duplicate usernames across Organizations
–When you upload Users it will now prompt you to create any Roles that are listed in the upload spreadsheet that do not already exist under Roles in Org Settings
–User import now reads through entire list and presents all errors at once
Calendar:
–Default Calendar view is still Weekly, but views were added for Daily, Monthly, Yearly and Agenda.
–Search has been added to the top of the Calendar to search across all dates.
•You can search by text in the Meeting Name, Agenda Items or people in the meeting. It brings up a list of meetings matching the search criteria.
•Selecting one of the matches opens that Meeting and switches the Calendar to that date with the current view.
User Settings:
–Added the following User Settings under a new section called Test Steps.
•Show Vendor Column by Default turns on the Vendor column by default on the Test Steps page
•Show Assigned User Column by Default turns on the Assigned User column by default on the Test Steps page
•Show Username Column by Default turns on the Username column by default on the Test Steps page
•Show Password Column by Default turns on the Password column by default on the Test Steps page
